From choosing your home to collecting the keys and settling in, the Waterways team is with you every step of the way.
1. Preliminary
Review the Waterways range and contact our friendly service team for a chat. Our dedicated team will take you through the entire process in detail, from understanding your requirements through to providing you with pricing estimates. You can then book in a consultation and site tour to gain a better understanding of the process, as well as an overview of the village and the homes.
2. Selection
To secure your preferred site, you will need to put down a refundable holding deposit of $2,000. You can then select the design of your home and discuss any alterations you require. We will provide you with a quote for your new home, during which you will begin the process of selling your existing property.
3. Contracts
Once you have accepted the quote for your new home, we will draft contracts, site agreements, and finalise your colour selections. We will invite you to come in and carefully read your contracts. Any questions or concerns you may have can be highlighted and resolved prior to signing. Once you are fully satisfied, contracts will be signed and finalised. You will then be required to pay the balance of your deposit.
4. Construction
Once selections are made and contracts are signed, the construction phase will begin shortly thereafter. This will take approximately 14 weeks to complete, inclusive of landscaping and onsite work. You can book an appointment if you would like to come in and watch your new home take shape.
5. Delivery
Once your home is complete, you are invited to conduct a final inspection with the salesperson. After the lease agreement has been signed and the balance is settled, you will be ready to move into your new home. You will be supplied with your keys and a welcome pack, including remote controls and access codes for the community centre. The management team’s contact details will be provided; they are available at all times to answer any questions you may have. Once you have settled in, we will organise a follow-up meeting to assist in any way we can.
